lol, if I could get one of those neat lil PayPal debit cards, like they have on the US accounts, then I could take out the bank & credit card company, and it'd be no problem.

I'm not sure how old you are, or what the minimum age is to get the PayPal debit card, but maybe that could be an option for you. Then, as long as you can add funds to your PayPal account (either via payments for work you do, or by transferring real money from your regular bank account), you can either spend it online directlry with PayPal, and you'd have the visa/mastercard for spending in the real world.

PayPal won't let you go over your limit either, so there's no temptation. If the funds aren't there in your PayPal account, you can't use your PayPal debit card to buy them. :)

That is a possible option. But if I had a card I wouldn't have an account for too long, it'd be bone dry in just a few hourse. My list of things to buy is big and expensive right now.

Like I said, with the PayPal card, you're not tempted to spend money you don't have, because it simply won't let you. If you don't have the money in your account, when you try to spend the money you don't have, it'll just get refused.

So it might not be too bad of an option for you :)

You know, I was worried about that too, but once you've got that ability, it's not that big a deal (at least not to me)...

It's really no different to having the cash on you... except that you can spend it online.

They wouldn't really care. Mostly because I went and paid extra to get the money order etc. My computer goes into high security mode at night (ie switching to one of the multiple consoles at the login prompt, my screensaver is password protected as well). I don't fear the reaper.

Well Folks,

I ordered the package today, and just printed out the envelope. I'll be buying my money order tomorrow during lunch (glad to see it'll only cost 90 cents more, the post office can have my silver, I don't want it)! Which means it should be activated by the end of the week, monday at the latest. Can't wait I will have to start moving stuff over there as soon as I get access! I'll probably still use my dads acct for miscellaneous images and such, or maybe not! We shall see :-)

:-D
