Hope For Haiti

Not sure if many of you are watching this. I remember seeing earlier on when browsing YouTube that they are airing it live so i've decided to watch.

Alot of credit must go to George Clooney and the rest of the organisers. It was quite refreshing seeing that some of the people answering the phones are celebrities themselves, something i'm sure will in itself encourage some people to call up in the hope of speaking to one of them.

Anyone happen to know who performed between Taylor Swift and Sting?

Hopefully alot of money has been raised tonight and aid starts to reach all the people of Port Au Prince soon.

I only caught a little bit of the show. Luckily, I saw Justin Timberlake doing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen(...some might know it from Shrek). Wow! I've never really liked Justin, but that certainly introduced me to a new found respect for the guy.

Hopefully people will continue to help those in Haiti. I can't imagine what it must be like to go from poverty to complete despair.

If i am completely honest, i was not a huge fan of that cover. But i agree, it definitely has raised my opinion of him too.

The whole night was very well organised. I ended up staying awake until 03:30 watching it. I have no doubt it was a successful fundraiser.

That was kind of interesting, we turned on the tv and checked the guide on satellite and it was the same thing on most of the channels.
