Not sure if there's a better forum for this...I want to host a photo contest on my website.

But, I don't want to allow visitors to upload photos directly to my server.

Is there a gadget/api where I can allow visitors to upload photos to my Flickr account, from my website?

Then they would visit my website. Upload to Flickr, without leaving my website, using this gadget/api, and complete a consent form. Then I could manage the contest from there.

[edit]I posted same question on stackoverflow...they tell me this violates Flickr's TOS. So, is there another service, besides Flickr, that make better sense?[/edit]

imgur, an image-hosting service made popular on reddit, has a pretty nice API that you could take advantage of. In fact, StackOverflow uses imgur to host all images attached to questions and answers.

Thanks Spork! Good find! Unfortunately, we would fall into the commercial usage category of the TOS for imgur. I was really hoping to find a free solution, as this will be a SHORT running competition.

I'm looking at some alternatives, I'm thinking about having the user complete a form that emails the "uploaded" image to a yahoo webmail account and letting the virus check inherent in Yahoo webmail be our safeguard.
