How can I find the location of a particular websites files on my host from the domain name?

Problem is I've just edited a site and re-uploaded the files to the directory, but no changes shown?
Since then I've done the hard reset, check on another pc, deleted files off host and re-upped them. Nothing?

I've search all the files on my host and can't see where else it could be. I was 100% certain I'm in the right folder until this happened?

Any ideas?

Thanks

If you're using a typically set up Linux host, you might have uploaded them into the root instead of the public_html folder.

Can you FTP?

For some reason when I use my FTP's (tried Filezilla & WSFTP) everything appears normal and to be working fine, but any changes I make don't take effect.

When I change/upload files through the file manager in cpanel it seems to work?

This has never happened before? Any ideas to what would be causing this?
