How to enable Javascript and cookies for AIM

I am wondering how do i enable javeascript and cookies. I just upgraded to the new aim(5.5) and i am trying to link another screename. When i click on the Manage Linked Screenanames a window pop-ups and says You need to enable Cookies and Javascript to enter this site. Please try again or Click here to go back. How do i enable Javascript and cookies?

In your internetExplore, go to
Tools>InternetOptions>Privacy and change your setting there.
