I ran across this today and thought maybe just maybe a few people who practice these idiotic traits will read it and repent. (a guy can dream right?)

 Good stuff.

I think the mods here could probably add an item or two to that list.

I have to admit that I'm often guilty of 2. Passionate cluelessness. I'm so ashamed.

I'm so inspired, I've decided to coin a new phrase.

Google Sarcasmonauts: People that make sarcastic gestures to "Google it" who are so disconnected from society, they seem like they're in outer space.
Why yes, yes I am.

*smacks jflynn upside the head*
Like that !

No really though, the worst one I think is the one that links to a page with animation of some search terms being typed into a Google search box that eventually takes someone to a Google SERP.

It's always people who seem fairly smart otherwise too. I think what is really going on, is that these people are just quick to think of search terms, in the same way a retarded person usually has some sort of amazing ability like being able to multiply 12 digit numbers in half a second.
Why yes, yes I am.

Secondly, I tell people to "Google it" becasue I'm tired of explaining everything all the time.

That is a pretty good list...

If everyone always depended on the help of Google, we would all learn to not depend on Ozzu as much as we are :) (Jflynn's posting rate would also be cut in about a quarter :P)

And if I didn't depend on Google, I suppose I'd probably be far less than 10k posts right now.

I think they should add a converse to #4. People who do speak English but refuse to put even the slightest modicum of effort into making a post that doesn't require deciphering.

For instance, the creative use of ellipsis like things as a universal punctuation.

Quote:
yeah,,,,,,okay,,,,,,,,,that really sucks,,,I think I'm going to flame that person,,,,,,,cuz I've got nothing better to do,,,,,also,,,,mom says hi,,,,,,I am so cool,,,,,but you,,,,,,not.

The always loved screams of all caps

I"M SO SURE THAT I"M RIGHT THAT I FEEL THE NEED TO YELL EVERYTHING IN TEXT> SO MUCH SO THAT I FORGOT TO TAKE MY PINKY OF THE SHIFT KEY WHILE I WROTE THIS POST< UNTIL I PUNCTATED THE END!!!!!!111111

Then of course, there's the teenage girl move where you add "lol" and "hehehehe" to every post.

Quote:
lol, heheheehe, luv u, hehehe, lol, hehehehe

Which brings us to creative spellings, chat speak, vowel replacement, and acronyms.

OMFG!!! I c4nt b3l13v3 h0w fr34k1n l33t 1 4m bcuz U suk

I guess the person who wrote the article might be compelled to call me a Nazi. :)
