How many domains do you own?

Just wondering - realised I have quite a few but bringing this up at work revealed that maybe I'm not so unusual.

Only 1 and even then I find it difficult to maintain.

I own 6, use 2

I own 22 and use 12. A couple of them are just variation of the TLD, and a couple are different domains for the same website. I really try not to register anything just to sit on it. It makes me mad when other people do that.

Usually if I see a website that could use a domain I own that I'm not using I'll offer to transfer it to them for free. After all, the Internet would be a better place if people started sharing and trying to make things more relevant instead of trying to get rich quick by spamming and scamming.

That's a real great idea truce, I don't own any, only our work's domain, that I add subdomains onto, to test some stuff ...

I own 6 but 3 of them just redirect you to 2 others.

I have about 15-20 domains. A lot of them are not in use. I usually have some great idea, buy the domain, then sit on it until I have time to actually work on it.

That's what most of mine are also. Sorta what prompted this thread.

Yes - I think the domain vendors make their money in a similar way to gyms / health clubs - from people's good intentions!

I have about 20 domains with about half for future projects...
