How do you spell grey? Grey or gray?

Today when I couldn't figure out the right way to spell that word I looked it up to find the right spelling. I am not going to tell you the results yet, and do not look it up. Simply vote above for the way you spell the word.

i remember there's 'stipulations' with it, but not sure exactly any more.
My guess is:

1. for the color itself = grey
2. for descriptions or names = gray

I doubt that's right...

According to w3 schools, both HTML and CSS color names, it is "Gray":

heheh, Yeah I don't mind coloring, but nothing turns out right, I have the same artistic ability with crayons that i do with Digital Art I think my son's pictures (he is 2years old) and my pictures look about the same.

Yeah I always have crayons handy, My son likes them.

Gray is the American version, and Grey is the English version. For the most part gray seems to be used more than grey. The both mean the exact same thing though, and they are both correct, just different dialects.
