Happy St Andrews day to those who not only live in Scotland but have Scottish blood.

One day it'll be as big as St Paddy's day. At least this is the impression the government here seem to be giving me with regards to the commercialisation of the day.

Infact, someone said to me yesterday that it was like they'd just made it a Scottish Thanksgiving day.

So how does one go about celebrating St. Andrews Day? Would my brand new bottle of single malt come into play at all?

Celebrate it how you would for St Patricks day (if you do that). St Andrews day is the same only it's for Scotland.

If you like your single malt whiskey and of course it is Scottish whisky and not that American "whiskey" then go right ahead and enjoy it.

Haha, of course it's Scotch. I'm not a fan of bourbon and sour mash is simply undrinkable as far as I'm concerned.

Celebrate it like St. Patty's Day, eh? Considering I'm Irish, my liver is not going to like this additional holiday..
