I have a question for the SEO Webmasters. Jerry West has a short video and a fix at this link for internal duplicate content http://www.webmarketingnow.com/tips/internal-duplicate-content-fix.html It has to do with duplicate content when your pages are indexed as http://mysite.com and http://www.mysite.com

I believe he also mentioned something on his blog http://blog.seorevolution.com/ that was similar. I can't find it now but I believe it was posted under one of his Google PageRank posts. Anyway I thought it said that you would also get penalized for duplicate content if your urls were double indexed at the end of the url as well. For example: http://www.mysite.com/arizona-realtor/ and http://www.mysite.com/arizona-realtor/index.html

My question is: do you also get penalized for the second example or paragraph 2. If you do, what's the fix for that? I have links to my site with and without /index.html at the end of my url's.
