I have degrees in Liberal Arts and Computer Science. I got into computers rather late in life after I discovered that I liked using the internet for research much better than actually writing research papers.

My favorite programming language is Java and I'm planning on taking the programmer certification test soon. I also learned C, C++ and VB in school.

I use PHP with Apache and MySQL to generate the pages for my site, so I have some experience with those as well. I run the servers locally and generate the files from a script before FTPing them to the server to avoid paying the extra fee for a dynamic site (Yahoo web hosting is a bit pricey, but they divert people from my old geocities url).

For web design I use xHTML and CSS with the occasional javascript. I'm still using tables for layout but testing an all-CSS version. My site gets a lot of hits, but I haven't gotten any feedback at all from the people using it, so I'm hoping to get it reviewed here after I've contributed a bit more to the forum.

I am not into a lot of Graphical stuff, and do a lot of basic HTML for my sites, pretty much all the scripts on my sites are all borrowed or bought.

I have recently found this Forum, and hopefully I can help in some way but i sort of feel like I am out of my league here, I pretty much am using you guys as a learning source, which this place is broadening my horizons a lot.

Can't think of anything else to put here but maybe I will remember later.

Currently I'm a Staff Sergeant (E-5) I have been in now for 5 Years this Past May. Never Been to Offutt yet, hopefully some Day I actually just got here in Alaska less than a year ago, I was stationed over at Beale for the last 3.5 years (Near Sacramento, CA)

Hey everyone!

How is it going? I am new to the forums and just wanted to drop a line about myself.

I am 16 years old, and into computers alot. I know HTML, PHP, SQL, some JS. I also know my way around programs from Adobe and Macromedia (photoshop, flash, dreamweaver, etc.). I look forward to participating in the threads, and sharing some of my creations.

Oh yeah and, stating the obvious, I also play around with webdesign, graphic design, and photography.
