got my own web design company - got myself a business partner who was in hosting.
he got us our second dedicated server and now I find out he knows less than I do - the first server was basically set up for him.

so now I'm in the deep end trying to find out stuff fast

Heheh Glad to have ya with us! My art teacher is a blacksmith while he isn't teaching. Pretty cool stuff! I made a webpage for him, but who knows what happened to it...

Well first of all, I'm a student at Oregon State University studying Management Info. Systems, which is Computer Science related. Has career paths for network admins, web design, and multimedia, or so that's what they tell you. But anyways, I literally just started to get interested in web design. As you can see, My first web page isn't even complete yet, I'm just fooling around with a bunch of programs like flash mx, swishmax, and dreamweaver/fireworks. All in all, i'm pretty much a newb when it comes to web page design. But learning about it is fun, and I enjoy it.
