Pfft. We are, emphatically and unabashedly, geeks -- not nerds. =]

No, nerds are genuine people who'd rather be blunt than suave. Dorks are people who seem nerdy at first, except that they're just incompetent at whatever they do, even what they're interested in. Geeks are posers who wear a layer of geekiness because it's cool in some circles, who for example buy powerbooks because they're supposedly popular amongst 'hackers' (I don't mean 'crackers'), and make other decisions of that sort.

Oh, and please don't think I'm calling anybody here a poser; I'm the only poser here that I know about.

Hi all

I'm ZeroOne. Am pretty new to web design and am currently making a shift in career.

I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa, and no, I don't have lions in my back ward. :D

Hope we get along fine.

I'm a Sales Manager with a ton of sales experience, but never sold internet related products. ControlScan helps your secure your site, simular to thawt or trustee. So i think it's a great product for a market that has'nt been saturated "yet". I think this will be a great place for me to bounce some ideals around.

Thanks,
Jason

Just joined, and wanted to say 'hi'.
I'll try or add my pix later, but am too slow to figure it out now...

I live in Denver, play Hockey :), and teach Preschool.

Oh yeah, and I'm hoping you all will forgive my silly questions
and be patient, I'm clearly not as skilled as the rest of you!

Actually I'm just hoping this post goes to the right place...YIKES!

Hello, my name is Adam, I am 26 and found this site looking for a plug-in to make .ico files straight from photoshop. Thanks to whoever it was who posted the link to that download, That is freakin awesome.

I am currently not working, so I have a ton of time on my hands.....

After I saw the help I needed and went and downloaded that plug-in I decided this seemed to be a perfect place for me.

I have a fairly extensive knowledge of Windows XP and Photoshop, I can write CSS and HTML also. I will gladly hop in and assist in anything I see my help may be needed. Umm......well thats' about it I guess...

Any questions? I'm all ears......oh yea, I am in Chicago......the Great Windy City.....

California dreaming........lol

Programs I use:

Windows XP
Photoshop CS2 and Image Ready 8
Dreamweaver 8
Firefox

Object Desktop (windowblinds)

Equipment I use:

Laptop: Dell Inspiron 1000
Desktop: Dell Deminsion 3000 w/ 19" Monitor
