I'm Praveen, Age 26, India, Mainframe product developer, currently working on PHP and Mainframe projects. And I'm new to PHP environment.

I've just finished my networking classes last year, and I've been busy with my new Web Design class, which I'm only halfway through.
I became interested in computers the moment I saw them. I prefer networking and design over the hardware aspects, even though I took half a class of A+ so I could have a general understanding of the machines I'd be working with.

I entered the SkillsUSA competition a month ago for Web Design and won the gold, so I'll be going to Nationals in Kansas City in June.

I am Ray...thats my surname. You guys call me ray. I know very little about PCs and high tech things. I am doing post grad in politics in Macquarie Uni, Sydney. It is a great place to study....I come from India.
My interest is world affairs, human rights.
I play tennis not regularly though.
My partner is doing her PhD here and we have been together for last 13 years....
We are simple people...

well i started web programing a few months ago when i started an airsoft team and decided to make the web site and host it. I know HTML some CSS and some PERL . I am currently learning C++ in a programing class at my school. Iv always enjoyed computers since i was about 8 or 9 whether it be for gaming or programing; mostly gaming as i started programing within the last year or so. i am also working towards my private pilots license.

Zach, you sound very similiar to me back in the day. You seem to be getting into the exact same things I was when I was first starting out in 1998. When I was getting into designing and programming (PERL was the first programming language I learned, then C/C++) I was also working on my private pilots license at that time. At this time I now have over 500 flying hours and after my private pilot license I went on to get my commercial, instrument rating, and CFI.

Good luck with your studies and flying. I just thought your post was interesting because it sounded so much like me many years ago.
