I got a job offer and I'm taking them up on it! I get to be the IT guy for a local nuclear services company and not only administer their internal network but also maintain and develop their website!

You cannot believe what a happy camper I am -- For most of you who don't know, I speant nearly 17 years in retail management and this is what I have been dreaming of for the last couple years!

Woohoo! Happy is me~!

So do I UNFLUX -- I worked hard to get it --and I think it will be. Really funny part that has nothing to do with the IT part is that in addition I have to pass a respirator physical, drug screen and qualify as a radiation worker. I got no problem with the drug screen --but what the heck are the other two! *lol

Thanks --I hope it works out, too. I'm not entirely happy with the hours on the job offer letter I received today, because it's listed Mon - Thu instead of the Mon- Fri like we talked about --- but after I get a call-back with my query we'll see.

Thanks b_heyer...but if I read things right (I think you need uranium to make a nuclear reactor -- plutonium to make a decent nuclear bomb and a few friends to get a job in an IT field *lol)

Someone correct me if I got it wrong...but I think that's right!

Thanks kalbal...and as an aside -- I enjoy your graphics, albeit they are more reminiscent of my younger days when I was listening to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabboth, and Alice Cooper and such...

(and please ...I hope no one asks who those are -- that would probably be the first thing that makes me actually feel "old"!)

hehe, my sig banner is made up of msn pics i make (for msn v6) and i decided to make a banner from them.
if i put my time and mind to it i would probably be able to make a better banner

my uncle is a die hard red zeppelin and black sabboth fan, he goes to the concerts and gigs. i am 16, dont feel old m8 ;)

although....i am more of a linkin park fan myself 8)
