Proctor & Gamble's Kandoo flushable baby wipes are not flushable as it states on the package. I cleared a 4 inch cast iron drain pipe of about 100 of them today. They only traveled about 8 feet and stopped, never reaching the trap.

I tried to call P&G but I abandoned the idea after being on hold too long. Contacting them through their site was also a fiasco.

I bet they did the lab testing in PVC sewage lines and never anticipated them sticking to the walls of the pipe and building up in older lines.

I can't believe that they would only do testing in PVC drains. The majority of drains are still cast iron unless you live in a new development.

good thing to know. too bad you had to find out the hard way. I hate it when products don't do what it says on the box.... I think they should all be fined.
