it's about time too

Legal action equals business as usual for Kazaa owner Sharman Networks, but even CEO Nikki Hemming was surprised when Australian music piracy investigators burst through the doors of Kazaa’s Cremorne offices in NSW armed with a court-sanctioned search warrant.

They are to blame for participating, but the company still set everything up for them. Both are equally responsible, not just the people or the company.

At least thats my opinion. Im sure someone will disagree! :)

ok, first off i would like to state that, yes i believe using kazaa is worng, and that you are in fact stealing form the artists...

HOWEVER, the ARIA should NEVER have been allowed to search the kazaa premises! i mean seriously! its one thing for the cops to bust in and search your house/business, its another thing entirely to have some random company (or association) that doesnt like what your doing, and as no legal right under the law to search ANYTHING to come in and tear your place of business apart!

I see where your coming from, and kinda agree. The company of Kazza was in the wrong, maybe they arent anymore, but they were and are therefore still suspectable. What concerns me is when this type of thing branches out to less suspectable companies. You will end up with everything under the control of one association that has all the power. We will then no longer have free business. Kinds stinks eh?
