Keeping track of your business

Hey guys,
After a year of having an official business, I find our method isn't the greatest come tax time, it was just thrown together quick to track things. Anyone know of some sort of web-based(iphone based even better!) customer/invoice/job completion status/accounting program?

quick books? and there is a free one to but for the life of me i cant remember.

Is quick books now web based?

I think after a few months of dev. we could create our own, but thats a few months of not doing other people's websites.

Nice, it appears they all have monthly charges though.

What I think is going to happen, we will use invoicemachine for a few months, see what is best about it and then make our own.
