Hello everyone. I am trying to put together a little network project and am having some trouble with it.
I used google, and found this forum. It seems people here may be able to help me. The problem I am having is
with IIS and trying to run a LAN or network web site. There will only be 3 computers on this network and
it will be a closed network. I tried some things from similar posts and can't seem to get it to work.
I installed the needed extra's from microsoft, and put the web folder in the C:/inetpub/wwwroot folder
and when tring to access it from another networked pc, i am using the LAN ip of the host pc. I am getting
the standard internet explorer cannot display page. Any help would be great!

Using the IP of the host machine should work perfectly. I would suggest checking your Windows Firewall or any other Firewall you may be using and make sure it's not blocking traffic access on port 80.
