i just found out today that there will be a story on wolverine's death. There are super heroes that died too like Superman and Batman but they are "legends". they have movies, memorabilia, and your parents might know them. Wolverine doesn't even have his own movie yet. i don't think it's the right time to make this story.

what are your thoughts?

by the way, it is yet sure whether wolverine will acutally die according to an interview with the author but if you saw wizard's cover in the bookstore, the heading says "Marvel killed #1 X-man" which shows his grave with his hands and claws coming out of it in stone not in flesh

Just remember marvals motto "In comics nobody stays dead, except Uncle Ben"

Besides to comic fans wolverine is a legend just like supes, and bats, and spidey.

B_heyer....they didn't kill Sherlock Holmes. Watson was mistaken about his death when he assumed Mr. Holmes died when he "thought he saw" Mr. Holmes and Moriarty plummet from that cliff at Reichenbach falls.

(Don't worry -- I do know the whole real story on that one.)

Not really Netmaster -- Doyle is just one of my favorite authors. But thanks. For those who don't know the story, Doyle just got tired of it and wanted to give it up so he supposedly killed Holmes on the cliffs of Reichenbach falls , but the public outcry was so great that he succumbed and started the tales back up again, as B_heyer previously noted.

Doyle was a most excellent author.

BTW... This really isn't off topic. Wolverine has a similar option to return as all our favorite comic book heros do. It would really dissapoint me if he didn't.

Wasn't Holmes being written for a periodical back in the day? And then he "killed" him off and the sales for the periodical went down so the editor begged him to bring Holmes back? Atleast that was what the absolutly absorbing bathroom reader said! :-D :-D
