Hey guy :D and gals  tell us about your favourite comedy movie.

Me first ? ok I think in terms of technique and speed , the movies of " Groucho, Chicko and Harpo " were best. I really don't remember the names of those wonderful movies, but they still make me laugh when I remember them. I can remind the name of only one :- " Big Store "

Apart from this, I like the movie of Charlie Chaplin, especially the " City Lights ". ha ha amazing and true to goodness. :D

I've got the Charlie Chaplin box set - I get in the mood occassionaly.

My favorite comedy of all times is "Stripes" w/ Bill Murray. Classic! It was the second "R" rated movie I ever saw.

Running close to that would be-
Animal House
Bachelor Party
and the original Porky's.

;)

Wow Wow ! Digital Media ! don't you think that movie of "grouscho, chicko and harpo or charlie chaplin" were best ?
I mean, the timing, the technique, the idea and everything was way ahead of its time :D and I know that nobody can deny that :)

Todays movies are great  but they lack something :)

the real human touch :?:

oh yes, I agree.

The Marx bros. and Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, et al. were all pioneers. In addition to the whole Charlie Chaplin collection, I've got the Betty Boop boxset too. Some great stuff from that era.

The movies I cited though are movies from my youth. In this case, for me, nostalgia wins.
