To be honest, that's more of a "your call" kinda decision, even though the table seems to suggest that you cannot make that decision.

This morning I dropped my multivitamin on the floor in the kitchen, and our one dog always comes and begs when ever we are in the kitchen even if we are only filling a glass of water. So as soon as it hit the floor she got it and ate it, hopefully I don't go home to a dead dog or a house full of dog diarhea and vomit this afternoon! The thing wasn't even on the floor a fifth of a second, let alone 5 seconds.

Back in the day, my dog (German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix) ate a full pound of Hershey's Kisses while we were gone.

He generously gave them back to us on the living room carpet.

He then decided the foil wrappers would look better in the grass.

We made the mistake of making cookies with carob chips instead of chocolate chips so that we could share them with the dogs, then later on we made regular chocolate chip cookies and we couldn't get the dogs to leave us alone because they expected us to share. Silly little peanut brained dogs.....
