You need to get a hobby too, you've got way to much time on your hands to be alphabetizing your music library.
Like Mr Spork, I also write about my interest in alcoholic beverages.

:D

Code: [ Select ]
var music = document.getElementsByTagName('texttarea')[0].value.split(/[\r\n]+/);
document.getElementsByTagName('texttarea')[0].value = music.sort().join("\n");
  1. var music = document.getElementsByTagName('texttarea')[0].value.split(/[\r\n]+/);
  2. document.getElementsByTagName('texttarea')[0].value = music.sort().join("\n");
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

On my PC all my music is sorted out pretty strictly ... My folder structures are as follows:
  • A
    • Atreyu
      • Creature
      • Lead, Sails, Paper, Anchor
    • Avenged Sevenfold
      • City Of Evil
      • Waking The Fallen
  • B
    • Bullet For My Valentine
      • Poison Digipack
    • Breaking Benjamin
      • We're Not Alone Here
That is the basic Folder Structure, then also all my File-Names and Folder-Names are mixed case (each word starts with a capital letter) and all my Albums have album art inside the folders. All the "Meta Info" is also filled in so when I format or something and re-drag my MP3 folder into Media Player or Winamp or whatever, it's automatically ready to go ...

[edit]Please Note: the music shown above is just an example, and may differ from what I have.[/edit]
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...
