Newsgroups

Are you a member of any newsgroups? If so what are their titles (no links please)


I only belong to one called nuts.graphics.appreciation its awesome and sooooo many graphics are sent daily. I want to find more but I'm having trouble doing that. The one I mentioned is on the zeppole server.

Are you looking for binary groups where you can get graphics or discussion groups about graphics and programs?

Ummm well this one is kinda like a snag group with heaps of members sharing through Outlook. But I guess both are good, even one on web design learning would be good!

I access newsgroups through news.individual.net and I use Outlook Express. I don't know anything about the zeppole server or what groups they provide.

I don't access the binary groups often so I'm not familiar with any good groups from which you can get graphics. I'll look though and post later.

I just signed up for them the other day as a friend recomended it to me as its free. Before i was paying $4 a month!!

I use Pan as my news reader. I don't belong to specific newsgroups. I really didn't know that there was such a thing.

They're really good. Can't beat the price! You don't get access to the binary groups but I don't really mind.



There isn't. At least not that I'm aware of. I subscribe to different newsgroups which just means that I've add these to the list of ones in which I participate.

I used to be on newsgroups but they take up so much time. I just use message boards now and ozzu is the main one. ive dropped most of the other boards i used to use and im down to 3 now

Yeah, I mostly lurk in the newsgroups these days. Like you, I spend most of my time on 3 or 4 web forums.

I belong to a Yahoo! user-group called [gpo-users] it is for users of the Garritan Personal Orchestra.
