Is there a way to create a rule in Outlook 2000 to automatically mark emails coming in as read so it will not show as bold?

Many thanks!

You can definitely do it in Outlook XP, but I'm not sure about 2000.

- In Outlook XP, go to Tools/Rules Wizard.
- Click on "New."
- Change the radio button at the top to say "Start from a blank rule."
- Select Check messages when they arrive, click Next.
- Select any from several options like "Sent only to me" or "Where my name is in the To box" or "on this machine only." Click next.
- Click "mark as read." Click finish.

Hope this helps. :D

Thank you very much! It's working in Outlook XP. It didn't know that this option is available in XP version.

Again, thanks!
