Here are the categories you will be nominating members for:

1. Most helpful poster
2. Best overall contributor
3. Best web design knowledge/skills
4. Best programming knowledge/skills
5. Best photographic/ digital art knowledge/skills
6. Best operating system knowledge/skills
7. Best Flash design knowledge/skills
8. Best website reviewer.
9. Best member website

We'll let you know shortly when the cut-off time is for nominating. We're discussing that since there's been a slight delay in our schedule. (I'll probably just edit this post and change this line with the cut-off time)

-----------------------------------------
OK -- here it is. Cut off for nominations, will be 12:00 AM EST Dec 14th. I'll let you adjust for your own time zones. Voting will begin later that day (Dec 14th) when the polls are posted and will run until 12:00 AM on Dec 20th. The results will be posted at some point during the day on Dec 20th, OZZU's birthday.
----------------------------------------

It's really pretty simple. I'll be making nine separate threads for each of the nine categories. Please make your nomination in the appropriate category.

Information about voting and the voting process will come later.

The only real rule to this is the nominee must be a member. That should be obvious. But please consider your nominations carefully, and do your best to post them correctly. Posts can only be edited by mods, so if you make a mistake you will have to contact one of us to get it fixed.

Remember folks - this is all for fun. There are no real prizes or trophies awarded here except the pleasure of knowing you were nominated, or even better, that you win!

Please, only ONE (1) nomination per category. Thanks.

Also, please, don't nominate or vote for yourself. This is on an "honor" basis. The intent is to reward members for their contributions in helping you as an individual

I really think nominating or voting for yourself should not be allowed.

Well, I know all of us mods agreed, no nominating or voting for ourselves for obvious reasons. Cuerock, there is nothing written in stone at the moment for regular members on this, but if you want to adjust that one nomination you made that's cool. We'll talk it over amongst us and go from there.

Cowkiller, Nucleo, and Minne -- good ideas, but this year is already underway -- perhaps those can be added next year. Too late to change/add them now.
