Pamela Anderson Expects Death in a Decade

Pamela Anderson says hepatitis C, which she was diagnosed with in
2001, will probably kill her in a decade.

"I think I've got a good 10 years left in me, which is sad, too. Maybe 15,
if I'm lucky," Anderson tells Us Weekly magazine in a first-person story
for the Nov. 3 issue.

"It's scary, but lately I've been feeling great. For some reason, my liver
keeps getting healthier."

The rest is here --

Wow, I didn't know she was dying. That article also says:

"Hepatitis C causes inflammation of the liver, which can lead to cirrhosis, liver cancer and liver failure. About 3.9 million Americans have the disease. Anti-viral drugs are a standard treatment, and therapy is successful about half the time."

I didn't realize that many people had that. Don't you usually get this disease by someone who prepared your lunch or dinner and didn't wash their hands?

no that's hepatitis B. ;) which is EXTREMELY contagious and airborne.
Hepatitis C is from bad blood -- transfusion or drugs (most likely drugs in
her case)

That pic on MSN is the most clothes I have every seen her wear :D anyways, cirrhosis is not a good thing to mess around with. That is also not a good way to die, I heard it is pretty painful demise.

Well, what she says, and what really is, might be two totally different things. The problem with showbiz is you never really know what you're led to believe, but a disease like that is always sad to hear about. But I'd also say she's led a pretty full life, so I doubt she's going to regret anything that she feels like she should have done.
