SELECT c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order FROM bb_categories c, bb_forums f WHERE f.cat_id = c.cat_id GROUP BY c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order ORDER BY c.cat_order

Here's a possible reason and solution:
http://mysql.inspire.net.nz/doc/en/Cannot_create.html

Did you do some editing of the functions.php file? I'm looking at mine, and the same query looks significantly different on mine than yours. I haven't upgraded from v2.0.4 to 2.0.5 yet, but it shouldn't be that different. Your code is listed above in the debug error. The same query in my version looks like this:

Code: [ Select ]
$sql = "SELECT c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order
        FROM " . CATEGORIES_TABLE . " c, " . FORUMS_TABLE . " f
        WHERE f.cat_id = c.cat_id
        GROUP BY c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order
        ORDER BY c.cat_order";
  1. $sql = "SELECT c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order
  2.         FROM " . CATEGORIES_TABLE . " c, " . FORUMS_TABLE . " f
  3.         WHERE f.cat_id = c.cat_id
  4.         GROUP BY c.cat_id, c.cat_title, c.cat_order
  5.         ORDER BY c.cat_order";

It looks like the primary difference is you have bb_categories vs. CATEGORIES_TABLE and bb_forums vs. FORUMS_TABLE.

You probably need to go to the ADMIN configuration option and adjust your root path appropriately.

The first thought that crossed my mind when I saw the differrence in the function.php was that was what you did.
