you can see Antares by night. Antares is the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius. But it's pretty neat that stuff. Also interesting is an image whith all the distance between planets and stars.

it's not really fair to compare planets with stars..... they can't possibly compete :D But the scale thing is pretty cool. There's a nice clip i saw once of a major zoom-out from an atom through cell - body - house - neighbourhood - city - country - earth - solar system - galaxy - and all the way out into the infinity of space... it was really well done.......

Those stars above are tiny.

Check out on wikipedia:

v838 Monocertis
Mu Cephei
V354 Cephei
Betelgeuse
Cassiopaea
VY Canis Majoris - largest known star

"University of Minnesota professor Roberta M. Humphreys[1] estimates the radius of VY CMa at 1800 to 2100 solar radii"

They make Antares look like a grain of sand

It's so hard for our small minds to even imagine the size of a planet like Antares. It's just mind blowing. The sun is such a giant compared to our earth, and look at the size of the sun compared to Antares!
Yes but can we see it in the sky? I have a telescope and I can never find anything(I can find the moon im not that bad)

That's just scarry.

Can you imagine the solar power that could be generated around those things if only we were close enough ?
