I have the PE_JEEFO.A Virus and I dont know how to get rid of it.
It messes with the svchost and now it has praticly infected every EXE file i have

I have scaned my computer with a online antivirus checker because my PCCillin has been messed with so i cant use it. The online checker says it cant clean it

If anyone knows another solution then please tell me ASAP

Cheers

hmmm the only solution i can think to this is to reformat your harddrive, cause it sounds like it has copied itself to all your exe files. And now the only way to get rid of it is to delete those files. Sorry

I used to have that virus once and i didnt have to format. What most sites tell you to do is a load of **** but I found out that its used the SVCHOST.exe (like you said) to keep itself running. I downloaded a clean version of svchost and I copyed it over the infected version and now all my other files have been cleaned out or replaced like the svchost....

Hope that helps

It sounded like all of her files where infected thats why I said that it would just be easier to reformat and backup the uninfected files
