I was just wondering what some of you think the rankings should be for the forum. For example:

0 posts = Newbie
10 posts = Beginner
20 posts = Student
50 posts = Graduate
100 posts = Professor
500 posts = Expert
1000 posts = Guru
2000 posts = Supreme Guru
5000 posts = Hacker

This is just an example. I would like feedback on what other people think and would like way more rankings. Please help :shock:

i like those but i would suggest shrinking the spread a bit.

i would say more like this:
0 posts = Newbie
25 posts = Beginner
50 posts = Student
100 posts = Graduate
250 posts = Professor
500 posts = Expert
1000 posts = Guru
1500 posts = Supreme Guru
2500 posts = Hacker

something like that...if we get to 2500 posts that fast, we can always spread
it out.

while i like both ideas ill add my 2 cents:

how about:
0 posts = newbie
30 posts = learning
50 posts = beginner
100 posts = Student
250 posts = Graduate
500 posts = Expert
1000 post = Teacher
1300 posts = Professor
1500 posts = Guru
1500 posts = Master Guru
2500 posts = Hacker
3000 posts = Master Hacker

Both good ideas... what I would actually like to do is shorten the spread like Unflux said, but would like to add even more so that I could make the posts for the maximum still pretty high. I like some of the ones Gadget Guru said there, like Master Guru, hehe. Keep em coming :)

IMAdmin you DO realize that half of these posts you are replying to are all outdated? For instance the last message in the post is dated december 2002.

As long as you are actually contributing to the post I see no problem with it. Many of the old topics were from people who no longer post that often, so might get a new light on things with the current active posters.

Anyway if anbody has more ideas what they think the post rankings should be, feel free to post your ideas :)

The rankings are cool. But to be truthful, I don't give them much thought. I don't post here becuse I want to have the highest ranking possible. I post here to help others and hopefully get the same help in return when I need it and meet great people.

Yes as a matter of fact atno/tw, that is a good idea lol and i think that was the idea of this forum in the first place,oh yeah just wait till this forum gets over 3000 people ! that's gonna be crazy!!!

I think you meant that there will be a lot of people helping/people to help when there are 3000 people on this forum.
