From my laptop... The background is La Rochelle from Radajavor on deviantART:

He's a killer artist, in my humble opinion.

The little icons in the toolbar I've got open are from the Ghost in the Shell icon set by Dave Brasgalla at Iconfactory:

I like to keep all my most-used programs in a nice little toolbar rather than on the desktop.

My toolbars fav. icons ( most used ) changes in time.. So mine is really messy , and there are many of them.. and it's good i didn't post it with the toolbars opened.

Hob, I certainly agree that background is very very wonderful.

Hacking ubuntu on an old machine..

Image

Image

First one is from the windows boot screen hacks site.. sorry can't remember the link. Second from my collection of SMG wallpapers I have had for so long I don't even remember if they came off the net or from a Buffy fanzine disk.

edit:: Just realised I didn't have a current shot of my main machine.. Image "stolen". It's somebody's myspace background.

This is my work desktop on windows XP. I don't have any fancy themes or anything. The picture is today's NASA picture of the day, which is the shuttle Endeavor during yesterday's launch. It looks pretty cool.

?? sure you can.. or rather, 2 monitors connected to one video card so you're running dual monitors on one computer.
altho i think you were using the term 'cpu' in place of computer >.<

whoa, I really don't know I can connect my computer videocard with 2 monitors. but the point is it only displays the identical webpages in the 2 monitors when I browse... What's the point ?? :scratchhead:

when you run dual monitors, in the settings tab of your display properties you can choose to extend your desktop onto the second monitor. so in effect, if for example you use the resolution 1280x1024, the size of your extended desktop will be 2560x1024.
