I don't know if anyone here has heard much about the new "Raspberry Pi".

The product is seen by many as being the thing that will encourage many younger people to learn more about programming.
It was released today, so i took a trip to a local electronics store to enquire whether they would be selling the product, however i did feel i had to state that i had not wandered into the wrong store and that the supermarket next door was not the intended destination.
What's the deal with like "Blackberry, "Apple" and "Raspberry"? naming themselves after fruit?
