Do the simple math below, then scroll down to find out who would be the perfect role model for you.

1. Pick your favorite number between 1-9
2. Multiply by 3, then
3. Add 3
4. Then again multiply by 3. You'll get a 2 or 3 digit number...
5. Add the digits together.

Now scroll down.

...

...

With that number, see who your role model is from the list below:

1. Albert Einstein
2. Oprah Winfrey
3. Rocket Richard
4. William Clinton
5. William Gates
6. Mother Theresa
7. Brad Pitt
8. P. E. Trudeau
9. Bigwebmaster
10. William Gray

Spooky huh ?

It would have worked better if I had correctly added 3 to my first result in step 3 lmao

Take any positive whole number.
Multiply by 9
Add 9

add the digits of the result together until you get 1 number left.
909, 18, 9.
13509, 18, 9.
399999996, 72, 9.

The 3(3x+3) equation is a different take on the old one.

==============================================
What is more crazier..

Take any number(X) positive whole number.
Multiply by 9.
Add any number 1-9(Y)

it ends up Y.

Code: [ Download ] [ Select ]
9x + y = reduced to y

5*9 + 1 = 46 = 10 = 1
4*9 + 4 = 40 = 4
1*9 + 8 = 17 = 8
2581*9 + 4 = 23233 = 13 = 4

but when you start to think about it, instead of some number 9 times, its 9 that number of times.

9 + some # 0-9 = that #
9 + 4 = 13 = 4
9 + 2 = 11 = 2
and so on.

so 2 9's continue 9's effect, 18 + 2 = 20 = 2 and so on..
9 is cool.

but 7 is stronger... cause 7 8 9.

One of us needs to write out a little script that will run through trillions and trillions of numbers to try and find a way to disprove those. ;)

true you can get 2+2=5 but truncating instead of rounding doesn't disprove, it only makes for funny arguments.

It will only work with whole numbers I assume.

9.43 + 8.75 = 18.18
1 + 8 + 1 + 8 = 18

That didn't work, but if you round to the nearest whole number it does work.

9 + 9 = 18
1 + 8 = 9

I know nobody will be able to disprove it, I just wonder how many nerdy programmers here we have who actually tried.
