My router stops me from connecting to kazaa! PLEASE HELP!!!!

My router stops me from connecting to kazaa! It is really frustrating, because it worked fine before we got broadband via a router! My internet + e-mail work fine but when i go on kazaa it wants me to put in a SOCKS5 proxy server host + port number! I really dont know very much about the subject. If you can help me please reply i am seriously stuck! Any help or suggestions i will be gratful for!
