SalesForce: what do you think about it?

Our company is going to use SaleseForce soft for improve and automate customer relationship managment. Have somebody used it? What do you think about? May be you have any advices, suggestions, comments, opinions. Please, say!

What the hell is "Customer Relationship Management" software ?

That sounds like a worthless gimmick if you ask me, money that would be better put to use on lunch or fishing trips to manage relationships with customers.

Actually I have used it at the last three companies I have worked for. I think it is a great tool.

I work offsite for my former boss using Salesforce. I have been involved in importing contact info from Excel, setting up a newsletter to be emailed as well as email templates.

It is not as intuitive as some I've worked with, but I'm managed quite well with no training.

If you have any questions I can help with - let me know. We have people all over the country (California, Ohio, NY) working together in it.
