How satellite tv is different from cable tv? Can satellite tv wins over cable tv?

Satellite tv is transmitted by satellites and cable tv comes to your house over a coaxial cable. The quality and price depends on what services are available to you. Where I live we have to use satellite because there is no cable provider.
