I love coffee but it's just it's costing too much.

It's a more expensive treat than smoking I think.

Or you could just drink free water and not have to pay $47 for a sip of coffee.

What $47. Huh. It costs about 6-9 MYR here for 1 cup of coffee. Latte or w/e.

I favor most the espresso doppio with 2 cups if i really need a big time.

With a cup costs me MYR 6.3, if 2 it will cost about 12.6

And that's when I used to drink everyday and I realized my pocket money is fast running out. I drink less frequently now.

$47 is exagerated. I just think it is funny how people complain that gas is $4 bucks a gallon, but they will eagerly spend $4 on a cup of foofoo coffee. The gas is a better buy than the coffee in my opinion.

Uh-Yeah Craig. With a-four-shots of espresso I can be up for 6 hours straight of total concentration sometimes.

( Even though, there're still times I will take a nap between it ).

With four shots of espresso, I feel absolutely nothing. The crappy part about drinking coffee on a regular basis is that you build a tolerance to caffeine.

Slightly off-topic: Espresso roast actually has less caffeine than lighter roasts that you normally find in flavors like "breakfast blends."

Hm, Yeah Spork I can't agree more than what about caffein tolerance after drinking much.

I'm now drink like at least 3-4 cups (coffee/ espresso/ nescafe)per day.

Sometimes, it's just very normal to me, and friends find me crazy.

Oh, I really have no idea about espresso having less caffeine. I don't know if it's caffein that will actually do the work of perking you up. My mind was just looking for something stronger (coffee)....

Thanks for the info.

Any caffeinne makes me all jittery. I can drink a cup of tea and be fine, but if I drink a can of pop I just can't sit still, the sugar might have something to do with that too though. But coffee, well the taste just never really appealed to me.

Coffee was something i couldn't stand until about 2-3 years ago. Since then i drink it now and then, i went through a very mad phase drinking nothing but coffee but generally i tend not to drink hot drinks as much anymore.

I've got to admit loving Starbucks, but there are none locally (shock horror) at the moment. There is a town near where i live which is the fastest growing in the UK, so i've no doubt that there will be one in that town before too long. As soon as that happens i'll probably be in there more than i should.

I meant to add that when i was in New Zealand they had this Mocha Java (double choc i think it was). I've not yet seen one here in Scotland mainly through forgetting what the name was and not knowing to look for it. Really nice on a hot day.

Starbucks coffee doesn't really appeal to me, I think it tastes too burnt and/or bitter. I do like a lot of their espresso-based drinks though, when I feel like paying for them.

I'm still angry about Starbucks discontinuing Chantico. It was basically this very thick, very rich chocolate drink that tasted like a liquid brownie. It was FANTASTIC, but they discontinued it, probably because they didn't want to be held responsible for starting an obesity epidemic in Ameri.... oh, right.

I seriously need someone to start making my coffee for me. It was bad enough when I topped my milk off with coffee, but the other day I forgot to put the coffee pot back in the maker before turning it on & ended up with coffee and grounds all over my counter.

If I keep this stuff up, eventually it's going to be cheaper for me to drink Starbucks coffee.

Can you imagine what it would be like if Smucker started making the most popular brand of ground coffee in the US ?

No study has ever shown a link between coffee and cancer. In fact, there are multiple studies out there that have shown coffee to have anti-carcinogenic properties.

Agreed, spork.

I did a little research about it yesterday and found it to have anti-oxidants or something which will help boost immune.

Something like stay in yor body for 3 weeks as some sort of vitamins.

Or a cup is similar to 3 glasses of orange juice? ( not sure I was just skimming that long articles last night )

However, they say drinking too much may cause blood pressure to increase; only if we add sugar or milk in coffee. ( not sure )

I found something new, it is the second highest trade in the world which petroleum takes the first place.

Coffee!
