Just curious... how many posts do I need to make before I get promoted from being a "newbie"?

Thanks.

keep posting -- no other way. Once you post at certain levels,
and DECENT POSTS not spam, you will get a new name. It
really doesn't even matter much, jsut for fun.

I just checked the exact ranks in the system right now and they are as follows:

0 Newbie's Assistant
5 Newbie
15 Novice
35 Beginner
65 Student
100 Graduate
250 Expert
500 Teacher
750 Professor
1000 Guru
1500 Master Guru
2500 Hacker
3000 Master Hacker

Thanks, rjmthezonenet! I'm so glad to finally get out of that "Newbie" title. (I had to post like mad to get out of "Newbie's assistant". That was quite embasassing)

Cool, well there you go!

(Just remember not to spam for the sake of upgrading your title. They're not worth it...)

Interesting. I never even really thought about the rankings, but it appears I would have just passed into the hacker rank.

Actually I was. I think Bigwebmaster made me a mod when I was still a "teacher" and I just never really paid much attention to the numbers after that. I didn't realize I had that many posts in less than a year.

I wish there was an option to keep your current title no matter how many posts you make.

I feel like I will be a begginer for a while still, cause I have way too much to learn
