Stolen Laptop - Tracking?

There is a computer (the name escapes me at the moment) that makes a software that you can install on your computers and when it's stolen, you notify them and they can track it ANYWHERE in the world. I guess at this point, it's kinda not useful for your friend but maybe for his next laptop, he can look into it.

Yes, its a better option for taking precaution for your laptop.

Sorry about that! However if you had some protecting, monitoring or tracking software (logintrap, etc) installed on your laptop, you'll certainly be able to track down thief.
