The following video is of a cyclist in Edinburgh, Scotland (my city of residence) cycling around Edinburgh showing off some impressive skills. Really does show you how important it is to never give up on something if you really want to be the best.

Wow. That's pretty talented stuff to say the least.

Cool video even though I wouldn't consider myself a huge cycling fan. Was put together quite well.

That particular cycling sport is called bike trials (not trails), and his bike seems to be a monty (though which model I am not sure). It's a relatively popular sport in Scotland. I gave it up when I was 15 due to medical conditions :( The idea is to complete a small "course" with only 1 tyre touching any obstacle at once - it's difficult, and potentially dangerous.

Well, from Susan Boyle becoming a Scottish internet "sensation", we have this guy too. Aparently his video was one of the most watched on YouTube yesterday and had 350,000 views in the first 40 hours of it being online. Currently sitting at 500k views in just 3 days of being online, quite impressive.

Wasn't there a little boy that made a big splash on UK Idol/UK Has Talent after that Boyle lady?

Possibly, the media here is still all hyped up over Susan Boyle. I don't tend to watch programs like that, partly due to the fact i have a life and partly due to the fact i actually am working and unable to see them.

Yeah, that video done the rounds in the office. Impressive stuff. I'm surprised that he never got arrested outside the head office of the company I work for though (roughly about 3:46 into the video) :)

What a year this guy has had. Seems to be travelling all over the world and doing bits here and there including recording a television advert for Volkswagon...

He's released another video where he does various bits on the route from Edinburgh to his home town of Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye (one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of Scotland you must visit if you are ever visiting the country).
