do the english have turkey for xmas? i thought it was an american thing. I know most aussies have a roast chook or a roast lamb/pork etc.

yea hun, roast turkey is the kinda english christmas dinner, there are variations but thats the main one, usually eaten with roast potatoes, veg, stuffing etc,

although im from uk (with a midlands slang accent) just joining in an american tradition.

and at xmas we always have a HUGE turkey, its kinda a fight in the supermarkets for the biggest. I have a big familly, so a big turkey is a must.
