Would you choose the stairs over the escalator?

Yep. I'd take those stairs. But probably only once or twice. Then they would get annoying and I'd be back to the escalator.

Depends on how busy it was. I always try to take the path of least resistance where my path will be impeded by the least people.

I would probably take the escalator if there were a bunch of people screwing off on the stairs and slowing traffic down.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

I normally take the stairs anyway. Good health habits are practiced every day, not just on a new years resolution. For me it's really important not to get fat.

A lot of times the stairs are faster. Like if you only have 2 or 3 floors to go up, you just start climbing the stairs. But in an elevator or something you have to wait in line, and then all the sheep shuffle in, and everyone has to press their button, and then you have to hold the door while more people come in, then the elevator goes up and it is a second or two before the door opens and all the sheep have to shuffle out and there will inevitably be the other sheep who try and walk in before everyone is completely out and you have a traffic jam.....you get the picture. Escalators aren't a whole heck of a lot faster either.

Well, technically, yes. Grain elevators that is.
