The Meaning Of Life is a variable that defines the function required to survive at any given point in time.

Everyone would like to think that, and I suppose it is a nice theory, but I dont think that is really possible. There are some people u cannot stand to be around and as long as there is a huge range of IQs in the world there will always be hate. Even most of the people that are incredibly nice to people only do it to, eventually, want get something in return.

//Ive given up thinking the mining of life along time ago, because it is different to everyone based on the goals u set for yourself.
///Personally, I think the meaning of life is just an ongoing battle to please the opposite (or same in some cases) sex.

First, clear out the idea of purpose. Are you talking about a ultimate purpose set by someone else? Like God? If you believe in God, then the purpose is written there in the book.

On the other hand, if there is no God there is no ultimate purpose to life. Things came out of random chance and that's how it is going and will end up. However, this also means that you get some chance the define your own purpose of life. Not be a slave to somebody or someone else's purpose.

Personally, I fall into the second category. I do not think, the entire universe and life system is heading towards a grand goal according to some grand planning. I also think, it is better to be able to decide upon my own little purpose of life.

I think the meaning of life is to prove to god that you are worthy. The world is a test for human beings. If you pass the test he will accept you to his almighty kingdom.

you learnt the wrong things man,

nobody can prove that he is worthy. nobody can tell you that you are worthy too. nobody except god.

you cannot prove to god too. you can only accept his grace and that you are a sinner.

many people are mixing superstition and religion together. since ages ago.

please dont post things about religion in this forum (ozzu), i am not religion sensitive but I see many people preaching the wrong things.
many churches and places too. lots of miseducation abt. I just dont want other people to learn the wrong things.

Interesting discussion,
We obviously came from somewhere. The world is just too complicated for it to have just existed.

Just look at yourself. The human is so complex and designed to function in an amazing way. hearing, sight, thinking etc.

Question then is who created us and for what purpose; therein lies the answer to the meaning of life.
