People like Saddam and Osama are quick to encourage others to "martyrdom," but they don't seem to relish the idea for themselves. The only time Saddam risked his own life was in an attempt to assassinate someone else and increase his own standing in the Baath party. I'm not surprised they had to dig him out a hole like the rat that he is.

I hope Osama is next. That would be an even better omen for the new year, but this is the best news in a while.

Now if they would only get Osama, I think he is a bigger threat in my opinion.

Yes, I glad they caught him( the villian that he is)...They need to watch him though...somebody that does awful things to his own family and people...no telling.....Glad we got thim...

I think a very large part of Osama's threat is over. Saddam is a large
part of his funding, and now that's just not gonna happen. I love that
he was captured and captured alive. That just takes the cake...

no martyrdom for saddam! 8)

Well he has been pretty much in a 4 foot cell for the last 8 months underground. At least he should be used to it! I think death would be better though. He is responsible for millions of deaths, so he should get treated the same.
