Apparently not. Wired's claiming that over half of the internet's top websites (wonder how they ranked them) are using Flash to track users, however, only 4 have mentioned such in their policies. Not only that, but several of reinstating their cookies to circumvent your clean up efforts! Interesting read, have a look:

I think that increased regulation in tracking of visitors online will lead to increased volumes of spam and shady activities in the long run.

Interesting, I actually didn't realise there was another way to track visitors!!

This all needs a shake up like the rest of the internet industry, especially where browsers are involved.

I reckon sometime soon, there will be some serious blow-up about all of this.
