Damn, your beers are way expensive ... lol ... that's why we drink so much here in SA, our booze is cheaper ... I pay thirty rand for a six pack black label (that's what I always drink) ... that is $4.17 ...
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...

Our beer is usually a lot cheaper as well. I bought the Tennants at a store that sells all sorts of international beers, so it was going to be a little more expensive. But hell, I can pick up a 30-rack of Labatt Blue for $14 around here.

Also, kc, would it help any if I told you that I'll be earning two credits this fall for this course?:

I can pick up a 6 pack of Milwaukee's Best for $4 too but there is a reason it is $4.

I loath you.
Like Mr Spork, I also write about my interest in alcoholic beverages.

Old thread, I know, but it's new to me.

There are so many folks here who "could care less" who makes their beer. Did you also pick your beer up in a toyota?

Please take another look at our economy. Foreign companies deposit profits in foreign banks. If American banks don't have these funds, they can't turn around and loan them out.

I just mean to say, you really should care.

BTW, I'm NOT from a "red" state.

A dark beer i've been drinking alot of recently is Belhaven Best. Brewed near Edinburgh, Scotland.

Since this topic was created my attitude towards beer has changed somewhat, my tastes have developed and i drink more than just Tennants or Stella Artois.

As soon as i introduced the Belhaven Best beer to a few friends of mine from other countries they loved it.
