I am the webmaster of sites where I share art. Sometimes there is a mix of religion and politics there as well. In the DUNE books, author Frank Herbert says:

“When religion and politics ride in the same cart, the whirlwind follows.”

This is true. But I am attracted to the whirlwind. Here is my most recent art. It is not finished yet. It will be a three piece in one picture when I am done. This is the first part. Feedback welcomed. It helps me make improvements, especially if it is about the artwork!

You can see the metaphorical WHIRLWIND at my site - ASSESSABLE BY CLICKING MY AVATAR.

Hello horseman, when I first saw your image I was thinking I am sure I have seen this somewhere, but it was another image you posted many years ago that I remember.

Its very interesting the expression on that face, what did you have in mind that he was thinking?

In terms of religion and politics, I read an interesting article the other night talking about America's fixation on "separation of church and state".

It doesn't actually say that in the book they are referring too (not sure its name I am not American) but it actually says something which meant that no one (Christian) denomination would be allowed to forcefully make people follow it.

America at that time was already founded on Christianity (the white people) and indeed the political stage and it was meant to stop any one leader from making everyone follow their particular Christian faith.

I guess they probably didn't count on America falling away from God so darn quickly or they probably would have worded it a lot clearer.
