hit Google, look for "Trojan removers", "Trojan Detectors", and similarly obvious keyphrases :)

Well, without knowing exactly which trojan it is, it's kinda hard to give any further help.

It's like callin' up the garage and saying "Hey man, my car don't work, what's wrong with it?" Without having any other information or ever having seen your car. Kinda hard to diagnose :)

If you're using IE, increase your security settings and avoid suspicious web sites. Today's big trend is fly-by SMTP daemon installs used as relays by spammers.

If AVG can't remove it, it will tell you which files are infected with the virus name. You can look in the test results area to find out where it is. Also you may have to edit your register to remove parts of the startup commands for the virus. Most viruses lurk in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Run <- look in here for programs you don't recognize or in HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Run these are the two places most viruses write them selfs to in your registry.
