When I lived down the south coast we had a cyclone come in off the water with winds so fast they uprooted GIANT trees from the ground and houses and shops lost fronts and roofs.
We were driving when it started and we had two VERY near misses with trees falling and scraping the back window.
I was too scared to leave my daughter (then 5months) in her room for fear of the big tree next to her window falling on her room so she slept with us.
We were without power of any kind for 5 days, 6 nights, no hot water, food to cook or anything to heat my daughters bottles. We had one combustion fire but anyone tried warming a bottle in a combustion fire? Or on top, takes hrs!!! With a 5month old...ummmm NO NOT IMPRESSED!!
Love always,
Bee xxx

I remember living near Louisville in Crestwood, KY back in 1992. We had like 10 tornados at one time come through KY. Luckily they all missed Crestwood.
